Dr. Aparna Sharma hails from a family of traditional Ayurveda practitioners. She received her bachelor’s degree from Government Ayurveda college, Tripunithura and Ayurveda Vachaspati (MD) degree from Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kerala in the specialisation Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana. She has also completed Diploma in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics (DAND).
Dr. Aparna worked as a consultant physician with Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, Kollam from August 2017 to January 2019.
Dr. Aparna is the recipient of Jeevaka award from Himalaya drug company and Nagarjuna merit award – both in 2014. She has also published several articles in reputed Ayurveda journals.
