Dr. Rekha Radhamony is a fourth-generation Ayurvedic physician from Kerala, holding a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree. She has been practicing Ayurveda in Dubai and India for over 13 years, combining classical wisdom with practical, modern-day applications.
Through her signature Agni Awakening Program, Dr. Rekha and her team have successfully guided 20,000+ patients from more than 61 countries, helping them reverse, manage, and prevent chronic diseases using a holistic and individualized Ayurvedic approach. Her guiding belief is simple yet powerful:
“Food is Medicine”—or more precisely, Ayurvedic Food is Medicine.
Teaching has always been central to Dr. Rekha’s journey. “If I weren’t a doctor, I would have been a teacher,” she often says. This passion led her to launch her first live online Ayurveda course in 2021, which received an overwhelming global response. Students appreciated her clear explanations, structured curriculum, and ability to simplify complex Sanskrit concepts, giving her the confidence to expand her teaching mission.
This momentum led to the creation of the Charaka Samhita course, which grew into a thriving international learning community between 2022 and 2024.
In 2025, Dr. Rekha chose to teach Ashtanga Hridayam, a text valued for its clarity, conciseness, and practical relevance. Compared to more expansive classical texts, Ashtanga Hridayam brings Ayurveda to life through well-organized verses that are easier to study, remember, and apply in daily living. Months of careful preparation have gone into this course—writing detailed notes, creating worksheets and slides, revisiting classical references, consulting senior professors, and simplifying Sanskrit shlokas while preserving their depth and authenticity.
Dr. Rekha’s purpose is to transform Ayurvedic knowledge into lived wisdom, empowering students to confidently apply Ayurveda in their own lives and professional practice.
